U-Pick Cherries: Pick Your Own Sweet Cherries and Tart Cherries

Looking for a fun, family friendly and affordable way to spend a day in Northern Michigan? Visit King Orchards in July for sweet cherry, tart cherry and raspberry picking. We specially trim our cherry trees so even very young children can reach up and pick their own cherries.

We're predicting cherry picking will be in full swing by the middle of July, but things can and do change quickly! Be sure to keep an eye on our Orchard Talk blog for crop and fruitstand updates. We will have Michigan cherries for sale in our fruitstands for the 4th of July weekend, along with delicious local strawberries, homemade pies from our bakery and our full line of tart cherry products.

The 2009 fruit crops look fantastic! Sweet cherries, tart cherries, raspberries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, and apples all look healthy and abundant.

We have cherry pitters at our M-88 market. For a small fee, we will pit your cherries for you while you wait.
