I love to make this relish on the side burner of my grill. I find it goes nicely with whatever I am grilling but definitely on pork chops.
2 cups Montmorency Tart Cherries (frozen, or a can of tarts in water)
1 cup diced apple
1 cup chopped onion
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 fresh chilies of choice seeded and thinly sliced
1 tsp salt
Olive oil
Heat a saucepan over medium heat. Add oil and wait till fragrant. Add all ingredients and cook until apple starts to soften, and flavors have melded together.
