This is made from a blend of tree ripened and hand-picked Bosc and Bartlett pears. This unique product has delicate pear aroma and flavor and honey-like sweetness. Great for back sweetening ciders or meads, or as the base for perry. Used in beer, wine, liquor, cider, seltzer, kombucha, soda and more.

Packaged in a 5-gallon pail with a re-closable spout. The packaging is not aseptic, but the concentrate is pasteurized while being processed. 68 Brix concentrate is very stable and not a conducive environment to pathogens or spoilage, so it can be shipped at ambient temperature. Refrigerate for up to 6 months, or freeze for up to 2 years.
